The new Agentforce Patient Provider Journey

Dreamforce 2025 Agentforce Life Sciences: 10 Announcements

Dreamforce 2025 in San Francisco was a firehose of Agentforce announcements. Having lived the life of a life sciences marketer, among the list of announcements, the three things that stood out to me are: regulated content management in 2026, clinical trial integration, and zero-copy integration which anonymously copies data without PII for reporting and integrations.

Below are 10 of the most notable announcements at the Dreamforce 2025 Agentforce Life Sciences Keynote:

  1. Regulated Content Management Coming in 2026

Joe Ferraro announced that Salesforce will launch regulated content management later next year. Featuring AI-powered content creation, personalization, and MLR approval processes, Regulated Content Management will provide CMS and MLR functionality that will be compliant. It will integrate with existing platforms like Promomats, Box, OpenText, Veeva Vault, and Aprimo. Agentforce Life Sciences will be first, but expect regulated content for other industries soon after its launch.

  2. Clinical Trial Integration for Patient Recruitment

A big challenge trials is where to find the patients who might benefit the most. Not only because of the sensitivity of the data, but also because of the number of patients and decentralization of the data. The platform enables clinical trial patient recruitment directly within the patient support workflow. When care coordinators are processing patient enrollments and verifying benefits, AgentForce analyzes clinical characteristics to identify trial eligibility and recommends discussing opportunities with patients. Clinical trials are managed within Life Sciences Cloud, enabling seamless handoffs and accelerating enrollment timelines, particularly for rare diseases where finding eligible patients is challenging.

  3. Unified Data Platform with Zero-Copy Integration

The platform unifies data from strategic partners like Viz.aiAcuvia, and H1 with zero-copy integration into Data Cloud. The semantic layer transforms raw data into actionable insights that both humans and AI agents can leverage, creating a single source of truth across clinical, medical, and commercial operations.

  4. Point-of-Care Integration with Real-Time Patient Support Enrollment

Through partnership with Viz.ai, Life Sciences Cloud provides real-time EHR integration that alerts physicians about patient eligibility for support programs precisely when writing prescriptions. Patients can scan personalized QR codes in the doctor’s office to immediately begin enrollment with an AI agent that already knows their diagnosis and program details, streamlining enrollment from days to minutes.

  5. Voice-to-Visit AI Agent for Field Representatives

AgentForce introduces voice-to-visit capability that automatically converts field representative conversations into structured visit reports with compliance checking. This eliminates hours of manual data entry, flags medical inquiries, identifies compliance language that needs updating, and suggests follow-up activities—allowing representatives to move immediately to their next visit without opening a visit report.

  6. AI-Powered Action Plans for Cross-Functional Coordination

AgentForce generates comprehensive action plans that automatically coordinate field visits, marketing campaigns, and key account manager outreach at scale. When data reveals healthcare providers with high care gaps showing low engagement, the system triggers coordinated responses across multiple functions through integrated tools like Slack and Tableau, enabling teams to move from insight to action in real-time.

  7. Unified Patient Profile with AI Summarization

The platform introduces a comprehensive Unified Patient Profile that consolidates engagement data, EHR records, SMS communications, patient portal interactions, social determinants of health, and barriers to care. AgentForce provides AI-powered summarization that instantly highlights critical details like recent diagnoses, mobility limitations, and care plan status, enabling care coordinators to personalize support without searching multiple systems.

  8. Real-Time Benefits Verification with Clearinghouse Integration

Life Sciences Cloud includes real-time benefits verification through clearinghouse integration, transforming what typically takes days of back-and-forth tedious work into a process that completes in minutes. AgentForce synthesizes complex coverage information and automatically identifies patients who might be eligible for clinical trials or quality of life assessments during the onboarding process.

  9. Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement is “Generally Available”

Frank DeFish announced that Life Sciences Cloud for customer engagement is now generally available. This marks the official launch of Salesforce’s comprehensive life sciences platform, moving beyond its 17-year foundation in the industry to a complete, out-of-the-box solution connecting clinical, medical, and commercial operations.

  10. Over 80 Organizations Have Already Adopted Life Sciences Cloud

Major pharmaceutical and life sciences companies including Takeda, Fresenius Kabi, Phyte, Abdi, Haleon, Phidia, and Tandem Diabetes are already using or have committed to Life Sciences Cloud. These early adopters represent the full breadth of the industry—from biopharma to medtech to consumer health—and have shaped the product roadmap as design partners.
